Roles & Responsibilities

- Build and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the client's business, telecom value chain, Indian telecom sector and its performance metrics, Indian telecom operators, their service offerings and key performance metrics.

- Quickly come up to speed on the existing research process, client subscribed databases, other commonly used information sources and delivery templates.

- Decipher research briefs and implement an optimal research strategy to execute client requests leveraging public information sources and clients' subscribed databases including GSMA Intelligence, Capital IQ, Analysis Mason, CMR etc.

- Lead and independently execute research requests. Maintain a completion index of 95%-100% across all deliverables and be proficient in applying quantitative techniques and frameworks for market forecasting, DCF valuation, cash flow analysis, etc.

- Lead and participate in client conversations to present key findings and address questions and objections with clarity, ease and confidence.

- Develop strong rapport with client stakeholders and become the go-to person for their workstreams.

- Manage multiple workstreams, review outputs of junior team members (as and when required) and deliver error free outputs under tight deadlines.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / MBA (specialisation in information technology/ telecom is preferable) / CFA with 4+ years of strategic research experience.

- Proficiency in creating in-depth company profiles, conducting financial due diligence (balance sheet analysis, income statement analysis, cash flow analysis, forecasting using valuation techniques), market analysis, evaluating technology trends and business case analysis.

- Excellent MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) skills. Working knowledge of Tableau will be an added advantage.

- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.

- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and switch between multiple projects during the course of the day; adaptable to working on both recurring and ad hoc assignments.

- High degree of quality orientation and work output ownership.

- Logical and meticulous approach to problem solving.

- Flexible with work timings, based on clients' requirements.

- Strong oral and written communication skills with exposure to client interaction.
