Role and Responsibilities :

- Manage and deliver high quality research services to global clients. This includes understanding project specifications, overseeing deliverable preparation and extensive client engagement

- Develop and maintain relationship with global clients and leverage the relationship to win more business. Technical expertise would be preferred in the following areas: Opportunity identification, Target and Buyer ID, Commercial Due Diligence, Financial & Operating Models, Company Valuation, Portfolio Value Creation, Thematic Research, Equity Research, Fixed Income, Credit & Currency Research

- Contribute to firm-level responsibilities such as knowledge management, training, recruitment and selection, internal process development, expanding business capabilities and leading other organisation improvement initiatives

- Professional development, coaching and evaluation of the Investment Research team members

- Demonstrate thought leadership and represent the firm in appropriate industry forums

Candidate profile:

- MBA from leading Indian B-Schools (preferably IIMs or other tier 1 institutes)

- 12-14 years of experience in M&A Research Consulting with at least 4 years in managing teams, leading projects and handling clients for Equity Research/ Private Equity/ Thematic Research / Corporate Finance.

- Strong quantitative aptitude and ability to draw inferences from a set of numbers/financials

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

- Strong business acumen - should be able to correlate market drivers, challenges with impact on client or target companies, should be able to evaluate business risks, etc.

- Strong attention to detail; ability to identify improvement opportunities and ensure successful implementation of suggestions

- Strong people management skills

- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in MS-Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
