RJ Corp - Assistant Manager - Sales Accounting & Credit Control (5-10 yrs)

Location : Harare/Zimbabwe

Reporting to : CFO

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. The person will be responsible to ensure correct pricing matrix in SAP and invoicing as per the said matrix as approved price structure

2. He will ensure maintenance of party wise account correctly, lead fortnightly reconciliation with distributors and hypermarkets, weekly reconciliation with Route Agents. He will ensure correct entries are passed in SAP

3. He will be single point contact for all queries relating to Receivables and will monitor receivable closely and circulate MIS highlighting all aberrations in comparison to sales contracts

4. He will also be responsible for monitoring export related receivables and responsible to deal with overseas parties for recovery and reconciliation

5. He will work directly with customers in co-ordination with sales team

6. He will maintain records of balance confirmations from customers, documentary evidences for receipts of goods like POD

7. He will ensure appropriate financial controls of receivables and manage audit related queries in relation to receivables

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

- Chartered Accountant with around 5 years post qualification relevant experience or Commerce Graduate with 10 years of relevant experience with fluent verbal and written communication skill in English

DESIRED SKILLS :

1. Experience of at least 2-3 years of working in large Organization

2. Has strong hands on experience of working in SAP

3. Has ability and experience of leading a medium sized team

4. Pleasant personality to work in a cross cultural environment

5. Having high energy, self driven and ability to work in a flexible working hours and consistently demanding environment in a collaborative manner

6. Experience of working in Africa is desirable but not essential

7. Excellent communication skill with fluency in English is must
