Short Description:

- Build various statistical and operations research models to optimize workforce decisions. Build operational workforce planning tools to be used in manufacturing locations of RIL.

Long Description :

Job Accountabilities :

- To build predictive modelling solutions in the analytics space across different verticals and functions. Help business optimize the investments in finance and operations.

- Identify relevant patterns from large set of data using statistical techniques that answers key questions for the enterprise

- Forecast demand in the plant locations and build mathematical/statistical models to help in operational workforce planning and resource optimization.

- Conduct routine diagnostic studies using correlation, testing of hypothesis, survey analysis, categorical data analysis, ANOVA, Time series, Optimization Techniques and Operations Research methodologies

- Transform data into business intelligence by generating relevant information and recommendations for improving organization performance

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills): R, SAS or SPSS.

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications):

- Postgraduate in Statistics/Operations Research/Mathematics/Economics from a premier institute.

- 3-5 years of experience

- Strong analytical and technical skills in SAS or SPSS, VBA, MS Excel etc.

- Strong business and functional acumen, communication skills and drive for results.
