Job Purpose
The Lead Learning Innovation role will conceive, design and develop innovative learning solutions in collaboration with other Learning Technology teams; and pilot it at different business/functions and prepare for organization wide rollout. This individual will support the Learning Technology head in identifying innovative learning practices and adopt them in RIL learning delivery practices.
Job Accountabilities
- The Lead # Learning Innovation role holder will work closely with the Learning Technology teams and the business/functional academies to understand various learning requirements and conceptualize innovative learning solutions.
- Present ideas and concepts to Business Leaders clearly articulating potential benefits for the organization
- Pilot innovative learning solutions which results in positive business impacts; and partner with the respective stakeholders for organization wide rollout.
- Conceptualize and create innovative curriculum and learning content for blended delivery through ILT/Web/Mobile/social platforms for competency development.
- Provide solutions for business impact analysis and creates bench mark for continuous improvement of RIL learning solutions.
- Excel in conceptualizing learning solutions and collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team with ambiguity.
- Work with key stakeholders from RIL University to promote consistent course designs, and promote technology based learning delivery.
- Prepare nominations for participation in national and international competitions such as NHRDN, ATD, Brandon Hall etc. for innovative learning solutions implemented in RIL University.
- Attend various Industry and Learning space conferences and identify latest trends which would be beneficial for RIL University to adopt
- Conduct Industry benchmarks through research and inputs from Knowledge Management peer to identify latest industry trends and highlight the relevance and applicability to the RIL universe
- Lead and work closely with the Social Learning team
The ideal candidate will have all or a good mix of the following:
- 10+ years of experience in learning development function which includes conventional training, technology-based training delivery.
- Good understanding of learning technology trends and passion for experimentation and innovation.
- Good understanding of curriculum design and instructional design with experience in leadership development activities.
- Hands-on experience in instructional design with the ability to conceptualize Adoptive instructional design.
- Experience in designing test item and a good understanding of adaptive testing and scenario-based testing and assessment rubrics.
- Experience community-based learning, social engineering and self-organizing learning communities.
- Experience in designing learning solution with accessibility for people with impairments.
- Good understanding of learning theories such as behavioral, cognitive, social
