Chief Financial Officer - Reliance skyTRan

Job Purpose :

- Responsible for all strategic and tactical matters relating to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, compliance, taxation, and the securing of new funding for segment.

- Partner Business Head from an FC&A perspective in the growth and profitability of the business.

Accountabilities :

Key Accountabilities :

1. Develop financial and tax strategies based on segment's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

2. Monitor and direct the implementation of business plans for the segment

3. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes relating to their business

4. Periodically develop and present root cause analysis for performance variances

5. Approve capex proposals from FC&A perspective relating to the business

6. Provide analytical and decision making support for business decisions with financial impact

7. Manage the accounting, financial planning & analysis, risk & insurance, investor relations, management audit, tax, business development and treasury departments for the segment.

8. Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team

9. Monitor the segment's transaction processing systems and implement operational best practices

10. Monitor the issuance of financial information relevant to the segment in order to prepare the consolidated financial results for the group.

11. Implementation of the contract with skyTran: ensure that Reliance and skyTran both remain in compliance

12. Negotiate contracts with other external parties, such as vendors and technology partners

Education and qualification :

Include Additional Certification Required if any Necessary :

- Post Graduate (Commerce/Finance)

Desirable :

- Masters in Finance

Relevant Experience :

- Type of roles (and duration) which an individual ideally should have done in his/her prior experience to be detailed Necessary

- More than 10 years

Desirable :

- Experience in handling finance function of large organization or bank
