RIL - Capability Development Manager (6-9 yrs)

Role : HR Capability Development Manager

Short Description :

This role is responsible for a development portfolio across RIL for a defined population. Through building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, the role holder will design and implement development programs that are relevant for the defined population, leveraging knowledge around the business and ensuring a consistent approach is followed across the group.

Long Description :

Job Accountabilities :

- Through partnership with segment and functional leadership, implement new leadership development portfolios, taking best practice from current practice to support the build of a common learning program across RIL.

- Take full ownership for offerings within the defined portfolio, driving impact and valued learning solutions, particularly focused on systemic solution design which is group-appropriate, RIL context-rich and advanced in terms of design and content.

- Lead and ensure collaborative and integrated solution design and delivery of offerings with Faculty team, Learning Operations, Talent and external providers.

- Facilitate programs as required

- Actively participate in all team activities, demonstrating the - one team- RIL value

- Partnering with Learning Technology and with other internal and external partners, to enhance and improve the existing online program elements and also help develop new and innovative approaches to improve the learning experience for our staff.

- Impact Measurement: based on key priorities this role will be responsible for ensuring the evaluation and measurement of how learning solutions is measured. Demonstrating impact, translating measurement into re-design and continuous improvement.

- With Leadership Academy colleagues define and adhere to cross team processes for design, program and project management, including prioritization, design principles.

- Responsible for integrating both internal and external faculty into delivery of facilitator/trainer led sessions.

- Supplier relationships - manage 3rd party supplier relationships, input into negotiation discussions, drive low cost/ high quality agenda, and liaise with them on day to day operational issues.

- Communications - working with internal and external partners to ensure that programs are marketed through the available channels, suggesting improvements and innovations where appropriate.

Skills Required :

The ideal candidate will have all or a good mix of the following:

- Strong understanding of leadership development and learning - ideally developed within international / global roles.

- Approximately 6-8 years- work experience in a closely related field.

- Experience of understanding learning needs, translating into successful solutions, and evaluation of solution.

- Facilitation and content delivery experience, able to demonstrate strong platform skills.

- Project Management experience - across of a range of learning and development projects, size and type.

- Problem solving and decision making - able to gather and understand important concepts in decision making, demonstrate the ability to identify the right, commercially appropriate solution.

Key Attributes :

Post Graduate degree in Organization Behavior/ Organization Psychology/IRPM/ HRM or proven capability to learn.
