Job Title: Business Strategy Lead Product Launch (Retail Background)

Job Overview:
Ridhira Living Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Business Strategy Lead to drive the ideation, planning, and successful launch of new consumer-focused products and services within the wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle space.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of launching and scaling multiple FMCG or retail products, with strong capabilities in product-market fit analysis, go-to-market strategy, cross-functional leadership, and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Planning
- Conduct market research, consumer behavior analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify product opportunities in wellness, lifestyle, hospitality, and related verticals.
- Define business models, pricing strategy, brand positioning, and unique selling propositions (USPs) for each product.
Product Launch & Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution
- Create robust GTM strategies for each new productcovering branding, channel strategy, distribution, sales enablement, and marketing.
- Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, sales, design, and finance to drive timely and successful product launches.
- Set KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate product launch success and scalability.
Innovation & Portfolio Management
- Continuously evaluate trends in FMCG/retail and wellness sectors to bring innovative product ideas to the table.
- Manage the full lifecycle of launched products including customer feedback loops, versioning, and relaunches.
- Work with procurement and R&D (if applicable) to define product specs, packaging, and cost structures.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to align product strategies with business objectives.
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for critical launch initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior team members and analysts within the strategy team.
Business Analysis & Strategic Partnerships
- Develop business cases, financial models, forecasts, and ROI projections for new launches.
- Identify and manage external partnerships, vendor relationships, or potential JV opportunities that enhance product success.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 815 years of experience in strategy, product launch, or category management roles in FMCG, retail, or lifestyle brands.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in launching multiple consumer products (personal care, food & beverages, wellness products, home/lifestyle goods, etc.
Education: MBA from a reputed institute preferred; specialization in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Management.
Skills:
- Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, take ownership, and drive outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, branding, and pricing strategies.
Preferred Background:
- Candidates from companies like Unilever, Nestlé, Marico, ITC, P&G, LOréal, Tata Consumer Products, or D2C retail startups.
- Exposure to both traditional and digital GTM models (retail, e-commerce, modern trade).
- Interest or prior experience in wellness, health, or lifestyle sectors is a plus.
