Riaan Wellness is a new Ayurveda products entity of the Kolkata-based Baidyanath Group, an established classic Ayurveda product brand built over 80 years and recognized pan-India. It will tap into the large untapped need for proprietary Ayurvedic formulations in personal care and health food products. Setup as a high-growth start-up entity just before the pandemic, Riaan Wellness already offers a range of consumer products like health juices, geriatric care products, hair care products and women products with a goal to deliver on the efficacy promise of its health-focused products. Two of these products have already enjoyed exponential growth in sales in the last year despite the tough conditions. Revenue today is Rs.100 Crore with strong profitability.

Riaan Wellness is headed by Rana Banerji (Ex- Dabur) as CEO and has built a team of professionals from large FMCG companies sitting out of its Gurgaon office. The company is looking to drive sales through two verticals: FMCG (sales force automation drive) and Medico (setup 3-4 months ago). It will also sell through e-commerce channel and sees a large opportunity in export of its wellness products to markets like Nepal and Bangladesh. It is leveraging the manufacturing and R&D capabilities of its Kolkata plant and R&D centre.

Job Purpose:

Brand Management:

- Directs the evaluation of Brand portfolio including Brand definition & proposition, advertising concept, pricing, packaging, place and promotion for the Organization.

- Develop and Execute brand activation plan consisting of ATL / BTL / consumer activation campaigns, new product launches, digital marketing initiatives, in-store promotions etc. across all channels (GT, MT, E-Commerce and exports) in coordination with category head

- Liaison with media agencies to drive effective campaigns ensuring desired ROI is achieved against planned marketing spends

- Build brands across channels e.g. GT, MT, ECOMM & Direct to Consumer

- Collaborate with packaging and graphics design team to ensure upgradation of packaging and graphic design standards, if required Develop and execute brand plans for identified products in line with overall organization's marketing and sales strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability

- Ensure success of new product launches through effective project management and branding strategies

- Recommend and manage all brand activity to ensure fit with brand strategy and corporate guidelines.

- Coordinate with formal market research agencies to scan the market environment and understand consumer needs

- Ensures effective media evaluation & planning attain maximum ROI by coordinating with key media providers.

- Work closely with Trade Marketing and Operations to ensure product and brand activities are correctly managed throughout the supply chain.

- Develop pricing strategy for various SKUs across channels basis competition and consumer trends ensuring value maximization for customers

- Develop market insights through analysis of brand wise sales and consumer data trends across channels/zones/regions

- Monitor and evaluate performance / brand health for identified portfolio of products

Cost Management:

- Develops and ensure adherence to marketing budgets allocated for specified brands

- Understand the impact of cost elements on brand profitability and control brand support expenditure to ensure brand profit objectives are achieved.

- Drive efficiency in processes by identifying cost effective channels for marketing campaigns

Experience

3 to 5 Years of relevant experience preferably in FMCG

Qualification

MBA , Tier I & II B Schools
