Process Design Lead - Insurance What will you do : - We are looking for a Process Design Lead with knowledge and experience in the insurance domain with an understanding of insurance processes and Technical workflows related to that. - You will become a core design team member for Symphony - our low-code insurance workflow automation platform. In this role, you would : - Manage Business Users - Strong business focus and management of user expectations, ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence. - Work in a consultative setting with Business Users to define their requirements, desired - processes, etc. to drive better business outcomes - Coordinate with a various team at Customer to deliver the confirmed output within timelines - Work with the team to conduct discovery of User's needs - Develop the process gap analysis, perform optimization and identify improvement levers - Develop timelines to implement a platform - Analyze and Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and get them effectively built into the system - Assist in preparing a document for the Business flow of the application using MS Visio, BPMN, etc. - Ensure high quality design and timely delivery - Take the business user requirements and turning them into highly efficient and scalable processes - you're responsible for designing, modelling of all the processes - Coordinate with the development team for all kinds of enhancement/modification needed to be done in the system (All Technology) after performing gap analysis - Attend debriefing / walk-through sessions with functional leads and/or other designated project personnel following UAT - Reviewing Test Scenarios and Test Cases - Foster post implementation adoption - Work with business users actively to review the performance of processes, deep-dive into analytics, suggest optimizations and processes changes - Document (with the team) changed processes for the customer and working manual to refer back to - Assisting the Business Users in understanding new functionality and getting functional sign-off - Develop and Orchestrate process for Symphony Design team - Building agile methodology to delivering Symphony to customer; set internal processes to manage that - Create effective documentation for processes you build, like BRD, PRD, FDD, wireframe, etc. - Contribute to the building of Playbooks and SOPs - Identify and analyze processes that can be used to improve the current Symphony offering e.g. optimizing how we build a quote generation process - Mentoring and Team management - Lead of team of Process Designers and Business Analyst - Provide constant feedback towards the development of each individual in the team - Step in to assist the team members, keeping the end deliverables in mind - Work closely with engineering, design, and business leadership to define the product vision and strategy for developing the RIA Symphony platform into a world-class technology platform REQUIREMENT : Must-Have : - 8- 10 years of core experience as a process design & development in the insurance domain - Software and/or SaaS industry experience working preferably in customer facing roles (pre-sales engineering or post-sales implementation or solution) - Extensive Knowledge of health Insurance Processes and process designer tools like MS Visio, BPMN, BIZAGI, AERIS, etc. - Expert in business and systems requirements, user acceptance testing, process improvement, and end-user training - Experience in understanding customer use-cases, and advising customers on how we can adapt our product platform with customizations to deliver a solution meeting their needs - Requirement gathering, elicitation, and excellent knowledge of writing BRD, PRD, FDD, wireframe, etc. - Knowledge of various work benches like underwriting, claims, operations, Sales, reinsurance, and their respective process - Documenting/ Handling all the technology-related items for the business users - Working knowledge of basic programming constructs and APIs - Hands-on knowledge of Digital Business, Tablets, Web Application/ UI Design - Education: BE/ B Tech (MBA Optional) - Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt Good to have : - Direct experience or past education as a developer is a huge plus, but not mandatory - Experience collecting both internal and external customer feedback and requests, empathising with their challenges and opportunities, and prioritising roadmaps to optimise results - Strong verbal and written business communication skills - Any previous experience in building automation platforms or business rules engines is a plus - Understanding the power of low-code, no-code platforms - BPMN development across any workflow automation platform, process engine, or rules engine such as - Appian, Alfresco, Camunda, Drools, FICO Blaze, Magnum, MIRA-PoS, ALLFINANZ, In Rule, JBPM, Pega, Pipefy - Experience with BPMN 2.0, DMN is a plus ABOUT RIA : RIA is an InsurTech company on a mission to actively partner with our customers to improve their health and health outcomes.
