We have been engaged by a leading global provider of consulting, outsourcing and investment services, to source talent to help them grow their business. The job details are as under.

Position: Rewards Consultant

Location: Gurgaon

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 - 10-14 years of Business Experience in Auto, Mfg Industry is must.

 - Post Graduate degree in business, economics, psychology, human resources or social sciences with statistics or research methodology

 - Analytical skills

 - Computer literacy; including Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or equivalent purpose software)

 - Excellent oral and written communication skills

 - Developed planning and organising skills

 - Exposure to Rewards & Benefits, Compensation & Benefits.

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this position is to contribute substantially to the growth of Company’s Rewards Consulting segment in India, with a special focus on executive compensation.  To this end, you will be expected to obtain rewards consulting engagements and manage rewards projects, as well as build and mentor a team of analysts and associates working with you.

Building out from your area of technical expertise in executive compensation, you will apply your critical thinking, consulting competence and subject expertise, and apply it in the local market so as to grow the rewards consulting segment.

Key responsibilities

   1. Your responsibilities will center on client development, project management and advisory relationships, as well as building and mentoring more junior associates. 

   2. Within your area of technical expertise you will be expected to provide advisory services in the areas of compensation philosophy and strategy, annual and long-term incentive plan design and modelling, pay-for-performance assessments, total compensation assessments and benchmarking, performance measure selection and calibration, board of director compensation and plan design, job evaluation and classification frameworks and systems.

   3. You will be expected to meet your personal sales and revenue targets for your level, while at the same contributing towards growing the rewards segment business in the local market. Your further career progression will be assessed in light of demonstrated results in these areas.

   4. You will work directly with the local leadership team as well as indirectly with the regional rewards segment leader.
