We are looking for a Senior to Middle level manager who can manage a team of Designers. Basic Function : 1. Design and integration of 2 wheeler assemblies, sheet metal and body parts 2. Controlling design function including 3D/2D drawings and Checking of drawings/BOMs 3. Well verse in design/development of new product assembly/parts and make proposals 4. Control &amp; guide the complete APQP process Position Accountabilities : 1. Responsible for execution and successful delivery of the products, meeting target timeline and quality requirements 2. Control of ECR/ECN 3. Checking Drawings in 2D/3D in Solid Works/ AutoCAD/Catia 4. Set parameters for product development and Testing 5. Follow-up for CFD/FEM analysis 6. Managerial &amp; interpersonal skills 7. Design of fixtures for new prototype/ prototype testing 8. Help in evolving Quality standards 9. Follow up for testing &amp; evaluation 10. Guide productionization of the new designs 11. Poka Yoke/cost reduction/kaizen/5S etc. 12. Creative approach in solving problems and Design engineering Functional Competency : 1. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, Engineering Materials, Heat treatment processes, surface finishing and Fits &amp; Tolerances. 2. Technical Support to QA and Service Dept. 3. New Product Development process. 4. Product proposal for new applications as per required CMVR compliance 5.
