Job description: Vice President - Performance Marketing

About Us:

We are RevBoosters. We work with brands, small and medium business owners called sellers to grow their business on the Amazon marketplace in India and international markets. We encourage a collaborative environment to set the right growth expectations for our customers, brainstorm on creating a strategy and execute our plans to achieve the expected results.

About the Role:

We are looking to hire candidates that have 5+ years of experience working in the field of E-commerce/Digital Marketing/ Search Engine Marketing/ Performance Marketing and at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role. Candidates having experience working in a high growth environment or experience working on multiple accounts in a digital marketing agency will be given preference.

The ideal candidate would be someone with the following interpersonal skills:

1. Have strong team management skills with the ability to lead a team of 10-15 individuals.

2. Have strong project management skills including demonstrated ability to manage multiple internal and external projects.

3. Have excellent written and oral communication skills and possess the ability to be personable yet persistent.

4. Have a result-driven approach for managing daily operations. Take ownership of the entire PPC operations module. Have a Go-getter attitude.

5. Have a strong inclination to learn something new every day.

6. Possess values of transparency and high integrity and implement them in daily workings with the team.

7. Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.

An ideal candidate will have moderate to in-depth knowledge on the following topics:

1. Amazon Ads/PPC management. (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display ads, DSP, Coop Marketing)

2. Amazon SEO

3. Inventory management and forecasting.

4. Category intelligence, competitor analysis and pricing strategies for client accounts.

5. GTM strategies and gathering intelligence for new product launches on Amazon.

6. Product traction report by analysing reviews and customer sentiment for a product/category of product on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading from the front by solving challenges in various areas such as projects, clients, training, hiring, people.

2. Strategise, oversee and manage media plans for several seller central accounts. Plan, oversee and improve the training for personal and skill development programs for the new/existing team members to ensure team growth.

3. Lead and ensure smooth functioning of the PPC team to achieve target media plans and subsequent growth numbers

4. Improve the quality of PPC deliverables on a regular basis by implementing quality check processes on campaigns.

5. Understand the business models/product traction of sellers to create a monthly/quarterly roadmap for them.

6. Use project management tools to create and assign tasks for every team member on a regular basis.

7. Identify potential automation opportunities in operational activities to automate mundane and repetitive processes.

8. Identifying and recommending various business tool applications for sellers and internal use.

9. Stay up to date with the latest updates about Amazon PPC / seller accounts, trending topics and best practices to be followed.

10. Get involved in account management and business development as a subject matter expert.

11. Be up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape

12. Work with leadership to develop strategic plans for the growth of the Amazon Marketing business unit

13. Get involved in team building by actively participating in hiring and training people.
