Retention Manager - Alternative Investment Platform (5-8 yrs)

Our client is India's largest alternative investment platform through which one can invest in startup equity, commercial real estate, leasing and inventory deals, and earn non-volatile returns. It is completely technology driven and transparent and has already built a community of over 150,000 investors and raised more than Rs 160 crore in capital from retail investors.

Founded in 2020, this Gurugram based digital platform is truly democratising investment opportunities and helping individuals find new ways of investment to grow their wealth.

Its founding team members include the leadership alumni of companies like OYO, Pepperfry, Morgan Stanley, World bank, among others.

As a Retention Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing the campaign calendar.

What you will do:

- Building strategies to drive customer engagement and growth across acquisition, transaction activation and retention through multi-channel integrated campaigns across email, SMS, WhatsApp, Web personalization, etc

- Applying demographical, behavioural and transactional attributes to identify customer cohorts/segments

- Designing and running A/B & multivariate testing and auditing customer communications to create effective customer journeys

- Collecting customer feedback, tracking performance and optimizing design/ targeting to improve the campaign effectiveness

- Using an iterative approach to optimization (hypothesize, design, test, measure, optimize), deriving actionable insights from the results, formulating new experiment ideas and hypotheses, while implementing winning results

- Using statistical analysis, past campaign behavioural response to create email campaigns, optimizing lists, segmentation and ongoing improvement in effectiveness of campaigns

- Keeping a track of competitors, industry trends, best practices and technologies to react to new insights and behaviour shifts

- Tracking and analysing campaigns for key metrics

- Regular reporting on progress against goals and relevant business metrics and consumer insights

- Coordinating with different functions including product, technology, BD, compliance, etc

Desired Candidate Profile

What you need to have:

- 4+ years of relevant professional experience, especially in BFSI and the investment domain

- Experience in Customer Lifecycle Marketing or Campaign Management or Customer Value Management

- Proficiency in Marketing Automation Technology (MoEngage, Amplitude, Netcore, Marketo, Adobe Campaign, etc. or similar)

- Experience using analytical and database tools (Advanced Excel, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc. or similar)

- Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data in simplified visual format

- Technical proficiency with the ability to troubleshoot and learn new practices and tools

- Interest/experience in finance and investments

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Hands-on experience with MS Office
