The core thesis here is that demographic-focused digital clinics can leverage a shared technology and services platform to provide a differentiated and comprehensive care experience for patients seeking care for a wide variety of conditions. Meaning that while we are on the VC-backed growth rollercoaster, we have more optionality to allow individual brands to grow at the rate that is sustainable. The role : We are looking for a Head of Retention who will be responsible for growing our subscriber base by reducing churn, increasing conversion and customer engagement, and growing overall lifetime value through personalization and journey optimization. You will oversee lifecycle management and co-create user experience with the product team as an advocate for our subscribers. You will work with Growth, Product, Analytics, Product, Content, and Tech to bring your vision to life. - Build retention and lifecycle management strategy by partnering Customer Engagement Team and peers to bring the Retention strategy to life - Understand core user segments, their key journeys and experience issues, and develop scalable strategies to reduce churn, increase conversion, and grow user lifetime value - Partner with Analytics and Engineering to build real-time retention and communication strategies across multiple digital channels - Partner with performance team to engage and convert new users being acquired through different channels with a personalized experience - Be responsible for core KPIs - churn, conversion, LTV, and engagement rates with product - Evolve A/B testing process to ensure that we are learning quickly and leveraging an insights to action framework utilizing our tech stack - Own the CRM tech stack (email marketing, SMS, push notifications), including vendor management, program design, and expansion of requirements - Work with Product and Content leadership to execute experiences designed to increase personalization, engagement and retention - Partner with local market leads to develop market specific retention strategies Experience required : About you: - A Retention Leader. You've spent 6+ years scaling retention revenue in high growth companies. You are outcome focused and know that good strategy, ruthless prioritization and alignment is key to that. You deeply appreciate and understand the craft and are passionate about evangelizing that across the organization. - A Tech People Person: You've spent at least 5 years managing CRM of large scale consumer businesses and understand the tech stack, daily execution, & strategies to bring retention engine to life. - A People Leader. You've spent 3+ years managing or mentoring people of all levels and understand how to coach, and mentor people directly and indirectly. You are passionate and truly understand people, their motivations and how to make them succeed. - Excellent collaborator and communicator. You bring people on the journey and can articulate even complex concepts to different audiences. You can balance between getting feedback and being able to push back and say no when necessary. - Strong commercial and analytical lens. You excel with understanding what makes a business successful, and can effectively use data (qualitative and quantitative) to make decisions. - A bias for action. You quickly turn discussions into action to move the work forward. You are proactive and able to quickly synthesize data and insights to make sound product decisions.
