Our client is India's leading edtech company. They are currently expanding their offline business.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the launch of new store locations, including site selection, construction, and fit out.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and on track.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including landlords, contractors, and vendors, to ensure all timelines and budgets are met.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, and regularly update all stakeholders on progress.
- Ensure all projects comply with local regulations and laws.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Provide support to store managers and staff during the launch process and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team.
What you need :
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of overall experience with a minimum 5 years of experience in project management, and at least 3 years of experience in retail
- Strong leadership and execution skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience working in India and knowledge of local regulations and laws is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead teams.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
