Retail Head - Store Operations (15-20 yrs)
Key Result Areas:
- Shouldering the responsibility of directing store operations for the country
- Driving YOY business growth on Rs 150 Crores pa of base revenue across 100 stores occupying
1 million sq. ft. of retail space
- Instituting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure cost optimization
- Identifying market trends and ensuring stores are on the correct growth curve
- Enhancing image and implementing new store concepts to generate sales for achievement of targets
- Conceptualizing product development plans through competitive analysis
- Implementing & following up store practices and standards
- Managing & renegotiating the lease agreements for the company
- Propelling turnaround of declining stores
- Creating & expanding client relationships which required extensive local travel and liaison
- Maximizing customer satisfaction matrices by achieving delivery & quality norms
- Steering merchandising efforts in harmony with the business objectives; organizing promotion and merchandising activities to create market brand visibility
- Organizing flash sales, outside the store sales push, Vendor bulk to get rid of superfluous stock
- Supervising sale of zero sale items
- Undertaking Below-the-Line (BTL) promotional activities and maintained healthy business relations with business associates
- Collating information on product performance, market presence and brand activities vis-A-vis competition
