Hiring for Telecommunications Industry Research Specialist Bangalore

Educational Qualification : A bachelors degree from a good college/university.

A Chartered Account OR a full-time post-graduate degree in business administration (MBA/PGDM/PGDBM) with specialization in Finance - (mandatory qualification)

Need to be fluent in business English (spoken and written)

Experience : 6 to 9 Year

Job Summary :

- Possess deep research and financial analysis expertise, shaping research, analysis and insights that enable for clients to generate global impact through identification, development and implementation of proprietary and innovative ideas.

- Preferably from a consulting/investment banking/KPO environment, equity brokerage, third party research organisation

- Basic understanding of and comfort with quantitative analysis, including structuring basic excel models, conducting financial analysis of company performance and interpreting quantitative data. Relevant experience might include (but is not limited to) financial statement analysis, statistical analysis, market sizing, survey research analysis, business case development, company valuation and more

- Comfort with global markets, business and economics issues at large

- Working experience in a team of research professionals

Key Skills :

- Exposure to specific industry segments in Communications/Telecoms (i.e., Wireline, Wireless, Cable/Broadcasting, etc.)

- Great relationship building skills, teaming and communication skills

- Good written and oral communication skills, including ability to understand and define clearly the research requirements and expectations from customers

- Research skills and analytical ability

- Deep quantitative skills to draw insights e.g., Financial analysis or modelling, market data analysis etc.

- Strong Excel based modelling skills, advanced power point and word skills

- Strong presentation (verbal and written) and visualisation skills

- Technology/innovation mindset-

- Basic project management skills

Soft skills :

- Enthusiasm to work effectively in global, multi-cultural, multi-time zone team (Europe, South Africa, India, Other Asia, U.S.A., and Latin America)

- Strong professional qualities - Client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals, deadlines.

- Exposure to deep financial analysis or financial modelling or equity research will be an added advantage

- Experience with alternative modes of research delivery/data visualisation tools also a plus (e.g., Tableau etc.)
