Client Details :

Our client is one of the leading multinational computer software companies in the world with their Research and Development Centre in Bangalore. They are hiring Research Scientists who are looking to come back to India. As part of the Research lab, you will specialize in providing solutions to problems that arise in domain of Digital Marketing, Document and Creative Media Analytics. The research charter of the lab is to create technologies which will ship as part of the product in the near or long term.

Description :

As a Research Scientist, you will have to :

- Approach the business problems as machine learning of user interaction data and semantic understanding of multi-media content.

- Identify new research opportunities in technologies broadly related to the core business of the client

- Develop novel and innovative technology solutions to the research problems, and demonstrate the viability of advance concepts

- Publish the work and gain recognition in appropriate world leading forums

- Assist in developing strategies to create new product options that offer engaging and rich digital experience for customers

- Leverage creativity and adaptability to better anticipate competition moves, quickly respond to market changes and support ever-evolving customer needs

Profile :

For a successful candidature, you need to have:

- Demonstrated research excellence.

- An advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or other related quantitative disciplines.

- For senior positions seven or more years of research experience in the relevant fields.

- Strong publication record ( Must)

- Demonstrated ability to take bold initiatives and the ability to solve hard problems, prioritise work, and make decisions

- Strong analytical, mathematical modeling, optimisation and software skills and ability to work with multiple levels of abstractions

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including scientific writing, presenting and formal briefings
