Research Manager - Financial Services Sector - Management Consulting Firm (8-11 yrs)
We're looking for Managers with experience in Research - Financial Services sector.
Key responsibilities :
- Manage and participate in business development activities and achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships
- Execute RFPs and proposals including organising and communicating with key internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and actively participate in Strategic Client workshops, conferences and sector meetings
- Support on trend analysis on sector activity, write-ups and POVs
- Develop in depth knowledge on FS and its sub-sectors, to be able to add value while analyzing financial and strategic information of clients, and identifying opportunities based on market developments
- Write reports to synthesis and present the findings, and analysis from research
- Undertake quality check (both qualitative and quantitative) to ensure:
- Output is insightful and as per expectation of onsite teams
- Delivering within agreed timelines
- Excellent understanding of company, industry, economic research, financial statements and valuations
- Knowledge in undertaking sector studies and analyzing merger and acquisition (M&A) drivers for a given sector or transaction
Education :
- To qualify for the role, you must have
- Master's degree OR MBA OR Master's in business administration or CFA
- 8-10 years of work experience in Management consultancy firms, preferably Big 4 or financial analytics firms Or Equity / Investment banking research role in leading KPOs/Captives
