This is an opportunity to be part of a team within the Research & Development function. The person shall be a key contributor as the R&D soft gel expert in the R&D team while assist in expanding the development portfolio. The person will be responsible for end-to-end development and scale-up of soft gel dosage formulations for EU, US, and other global markets. Responsibilities: 1. Provide expert knowledge and advice in the set-up and development of a soft gel facility, including formulation, analytical, equipment selections etc. 2. Perform and oversee Lab development trials for the successful development of soft gel formulations. 3. Provide expert technical support for soft gel formulation development and scale-up formulations, process designing, and technology transfer for US/Europe/Canada/US/Australia and global markets. 4. Comply with all the relevant regulatory guidelines for European and US FDA, ICH guidelines for development, process validation, and stability studies for soft gel product lines. Competencies: 1. Displays expert knowledge of soft gel formulation development and tech transfer for the pharma companies in the previous role/s. 2. Strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements with soft gel dosage form for EU/Canada/US/Australia and ROW 3. Hands-on experience in handling the machines used for R&D soft gel activities. 4. Strong organizational skills, personal efficiency, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key communication skills. 5. Displays flexibility, willingness to succeed, and goes the extra mile. 6 . Strong computer skills in MS Office Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Outlook. Qualifications: 1. Master / PhD. in a pharmacy or relevant formulation discipline. Postgraduate qualifications in Pharmaceutical technology is an advantage 2. At least 10 years + experience in the soft gel industry within an EU/FDA pharmaceutical regulated environment 3. Excellent spoken and written English is essential for the role. 4. Strong computer skills in the MS Office suite are essential.
