Research Analyst - Portfolio Management Services - Mutual Fund - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (3-6 yrs)
We are hiring for an exclusive mandate with one of our client a leading Asset Management Company (Mutual Fund).
Job Description :
- Analyzing various industries and companies from an equity investment perspective
- Communicating with company managements and sell-side analysts to gain company/industry insights
- Financial data analysis
- Developing earnings models for companies
- Making recommendations to Fund managers based on research on what to buy/sell
Note that Buy side requires a capability to scale up to analyze more than one sector and much larger universe of companies as compared to sell-side research.
Profile :
- The incumbent must be a CA (1st Attempt) OR MBA in Finance from premium institute
- Experience 4-5 years or more in Research
- Good knowledge of excel and data base like Bloomberg or Capitaline
- Quantitative and Analytical in approach
- Knowledge of financial data analysis and financial engineering models
- Have read a couple of annual reports and understand financials well
- Self motivated and a go-getter.
