Seeking an analyst with a computational background and skill sets with a typical educational background as BS and/or MS in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology We are looking for Research Analyst ( a team member in Advisory Projects ) Experience : 1-4 years The candidate should : 1. Understand Life sciences/pharma, bio-pharma, biologicals, bio-similars Market understanding of formulations, API, Injectables 2. Financial analysis, business modeling, valuations, projections, etc. 3. Business development expertise in API, formulation, biosimilars, innovative products, etc 4. Candidate with a technical background in understand Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Process, etc. based platforms 5. Scientific expertise in a small molecule or biologics drug discovery and development 6. Global perspective towards the industry, Fluent oral and written communication, Strong presentation skills, Technical fluency - Strong skillsets in MS Office, navigating through and adapting to various technical/IT platforms 7. Flexible to work according to relevant time zones globally (US, EU, Japan and China) Location: Remote working. Can be based anywhere in India. Purpose: The job holder is responsible for: 1) Therapy area/company research, analyze data and prepare a document for the clients; 2) Is a team member in Strategic Advisory projects. Key Result Areas : - Map the competitive landscape for key therapeutic areas and evaluate the impact of pipeline research compounds. - Interact with pharmaceutical companies to understand product and R&amp; D pipeline - Participate in short-term consulting projects as a team member. - Provide analysis supported by sound scientific and financial research of an assigned group of companies to clients. - Maintain active interface with clients by writing investment research reports at defined intervals. - Interact with pharmaceutical companies to understand their business and evaluate their future worthiness. Skills / Competencies : Essential : - Interpret the intricacies of clinical data/reports and knowledge about implications of latest events within the global pharmaceutical world Analytical mindset : - Excellent Communication skills - spoken and written (business drafting skills) - Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of the latest presentation techniques - Excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on client management - Ability to multi-task with careful attention to detail - Ability to work in a team and foster value creation - Ability to coach and mentor team members as required - Flair for Business development and bringing new ideas to increase Strategic Advisory Business : Qualifications &amp; Experience: - 1-2 years research, marketing, BD, or consulting experience with a pharmaceutical firm/autonomous research institutes or consulting firm - Prior work experience in the US/Europe is an added advantage B.Pharm with MBA from a reputed University.
