Research Analyst (Generalist) - Global Management Consulting Firm

Job Role : The person will be doing the Research in the Generalist team which focuses on working across industries and functions to develop strong research techniques.

Job Location : Gurgaon

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAs: 

- Work with project team members to understand, refine and prioritize their research needs

- Identify and determine the most appropriate, cost effective and timely research solutions to meet needs

- Gather information using a broad spectrum of sources

- Organize, analyze and synthesize the findings into targeted, firm-formatted end products-including single exhibits, written summaries, basic fact packs, and spread-sheets, utilizing standard financial concepts, ratios and calculations

- Build and develop knowledge in one or more - spikes- (e.g. industry, function, or geography) and tap into the firm wide network, where available

- Develop basic fact packs and summaries to build your expertise, and be assigned portions of larger documents in your area of focus

- Actively contribute to firm's responsibilities and processes (Global Coordination, SER, initiatives) while being operationally diligent and effective

- Deliver work which is of highest quality within the budget

- Delivery of projects on timely basis.

- Reliability, dependability, and an ability to manage workload effectively

- Pursuit of out-of-the-box solutions whenever possible

DESIRED PROFILE: 

 Education: Master's or MBA from a reputed institute

 Experience: 1.5-3yrs of relevant business research experience with research-projects across sectors/functions

- Good knowledge of Excel and its usage; ability to build basic story through PowerPoint is a must
