Research Analyst - FMCG Sector

Research Analyst for FMCG Clients/Manager for "YouPlus" - Bangalore location

Looking for candidate having experience in Research for FMCG clients.

Candidates who have worked in Marketing SUPPORT or in Sales SUPPORT function.

- They will have SUPPORTED the Marketing/Sales team through their Research using INTERNET and/or attending Seminars/Conferences/Workshops

- Candidate will have been asked to do Market profiling to identify "Business Prospects" in a particular business segment (e.g. FMCG)

- The candidate will have done planning and listed criterion for identification of prospects, extensively used Internet to identify businesses who qualify against the set criteria (e.g. use LinkedIn, CII, Hoovers, D&B like databases of companies).

- Using this candidate would now have done gradation, based on revenues, dominance in their segment of industry (by reading Press Releases, articles about Biz wins, hiring of marquee industry leaders, awards & recognition).

- Now, they set about identifying the appropriate Biz contact who has the authority and role to evaluate a new vendor and approve Biz association. T

- This person would have transferred their work, to a Marketing person to take forward, by writing email and attaching write-up about solutions their company makes, asking to set-up time for their Sales person to meet & discuss.
