Profile:

We are seeking a detail-oriented research analyst to join our growing organization. The candidate will interpret, manage, and analyse research data in order to help make smart investment decisions. Working towards facilitating greater returns through research and analyzing data of various sectors/ industries in India and Overseas. The primary job function is identifying, researching, implementing, and monitoring innovation across the most trending industries in the startup ecosystem.This will include evaluating, making and presenting recommendations for opportunities on both new and existing opportunities.

Detailed Responsibilities:

- Research to help identify new investment trends and opportunities

- Proactively research market, trends and patterns on the most trending sectors and opportunities.

- Create detailed reports of findings

- Simplify findings into presentations

- Organize and store data for future research projects

- Document all data and research procedures

- Compare ROI with past data and reports

- Identify and understand problems through forecasting, gap analysis, quantitative reporting, research, and statistical analysis

- Compile and analyze data points

- Evaluate opportunities for improvement and innovation for portfolio ventures

- Gather information from the target company and industry experts

- Research and talk to existing and potential customers and other stakeholders of the target company

- Research potential competitors to the target company

- Research and talk with technical/business consultants to evaluate the target company's technology including IPs

- Network with peers in other Venture Capital Firms

Skills Required:

- Graduate in Economics, Information Science, Business, Management, or similar to Top Schools.

- 2 years of relevant experience

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Passionate about the India growth story and the start-up ecosystem in the country

- Curiosity and comfort in teaching yourself about varied industries; resourcefulness to develop and maintain awareness of market comparable, transactions, and trends, particularly where data may not be readily available.

- Outstanding critical thinking, analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated.

- Able to perform statistical analysis.

- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

- Flexibility and a desire to be part of a young, hard-working team!
