Legal Counsel

The Legal function at Replicon offers the opportunity of working on challenging assignments which hold the potential for enormous learning and growth. Replicon is looking for experiences professional with at least 5+years of experience, having experience in multifaceted legal responsibilities with minimal supervision, to join its growing Legal department. The candidate will have a good academic background and excellent proficiency in written & verbal communication. The Legal Counsel will be expected to advise on compliance as well as contract related matters governing the usage of the company's products.

Key Responsibilities :

- The Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting, review and negotiation of contracts such as Master Services Agreements, Software Licenses, Subcontracting Agreements, Data Protection.

- Agreements, Agreements with Alliance partners, Suppliers, System Integration Agreements, etc.

- The Legal Counsel will also be responsible for advising the management on the legal / ethical aspects arising from day- to- day business activities

- Assist with negotiations / communications with customers, external government agencies / representatives, outside counsel, etc..

- Good knowledge of commercial contract laws and experience with an eye for detail

- Ability to function autonomously yet communicate laterally and upwardly with ease

- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

- This role involves negotiations directly with the clients and their attorneys, and requires close interaction with the various departments of the company, including the business, finance and delivery teams.

- Candidates having legal skills and significant experience of handling and negotiating deals with external entities are desirable.

Qualification :

- Law Degree from an accredited university

- Strong process orientation and good analytical skills

- Experience in the lifecycle of the complete contract with emphasis on end to end closure of software agreements, compliance advisory, or research assistance in an IT environment

- Legal Compliance experience including exposure to international laws will be an added advantage

- Experience operating in multiple technology platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required, experience DocuSign Reports is a plus.

Salary Offered: 8 - 11 LPA
