Accel Partners, IDG Ventures, Bain Capital, Samsung, GMO and fintech entrepreneur Renaud Laplanche Role reports : VP and Head of Finance RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; OWNERSHIP : - Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting,&nbsp;Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition - Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including payment of all statutory dues like&nbsp;taxes etc. and filing of all statutory returns including but not limited to GST, SEZ, ROC, RBI, Income&nbsp;tax etc - Manage cash flows to ensure sufficient funds are available for day-to-day operations and timely&nbsp;payment of expenses as per plan - Complete all formalities relating to FEMA, RBI and other such legal authorities both related for&nbsp;receipt of foreign funds, invoices and raising of invoices on foreign entities - Ensure completeness of month end processes including but not limited to generating revenue&nbsp;invoice, month end general entries, completing fixed assets register, running depreciations from&nbsp;fixed assets module, preparing monthly prepaid expense amortization entries, reclassification - Respond to inquiries from various departments regarding monthly departmental/regional reports - Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities - Improving SOPs and strategy for finance team on all dimensions i.e. accounting, taxation, compliance, secretarial, receivables, payables, and financial operations - Ensuring real-time financial statements like balance sheet, income statement, cash flow&nbsp;statements, and MIS are available for business decision-making - Overseeing process set-up and adherence of accounting, taxation, and legal framework - Manage corporate structuring, treasury, and asset management functions to safeguard &amp;&nbsp;maximize corporate value - Manage all statutory &amp; external audits in a timely &amp; responsible manner - Prepare annual budgets, analyse variances, and suggest corrective actions.
