Position:Head of Sales

Head of Saleswill be responsible for leading and managing our plain gold Jewellery sales function in the International market.

The position will be based in Dubai. A team of sales executives will report directly to Head of Sales and Head of Sales will report to Management team.

Strongly self-driven and passionate for success will be a key driver for this position.

Specific Job Profile:

1. Active relationship management with all local and international customers. Try to gauge their pain points/ needs.

2. Monitor and Drive sales team performance and manage day to day operations and targets related to Sales. Understand their needs to perform more effectively.

3. Decide Sales strategy for short term and long term in consultation with senior management.Finalize monthly as well as annual sales forecast and budget.

4. Market Analysis - provide consumption based data analysis for different product categories.

5. Finalizing product development strategy for short term (next 2 months) as well as long term in line with customer needs and trends.

6. Understand the product and review samples being made for suitability and suggest changes.

7. Liaison with factory for order flow and understand bottle necks.

8. Understand product costing and decide pricing strategy accordingly.

9. Close watch on customer outstanding and ROI jointly with Finance team.

- Sound understanding ofIndia as well as International market environment and customer behaviour

- Strategic Mindset: Sees the big picture, constantly imagines future scenarios and creates strategies to sustain competitive advantage

- Customer Focus: Builds strong customer relationships and develops customer-focused solutions

Qualifications:

Education: MBA/ Masters-in-marketing/ Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant

Experience Required:

- 3-5 years of work experience in Fashion, jewellery orlifestyle industry.

- Preferably having worked at a middle to senior level position in a large jewellery manufacturing/ trading organizationin the B2B sales/ marketing function.

- Example of target companies include Gitanjali, Emerald, Tanishq, Derewala, Au Finja, ZAR. He may also be from a corporate diamond jewellery major.

- Exposure to International market and customers

- This position involves meeting with International customers and business owners. Hence the candidate must be mature, responsive ability to travel extensively.
