The Marketplace business is an internet-commerce based platform where sellers across various domains can list their products, pricing and positioning, while receiving support from the marketplace owners in terms of warehouse and logistics. Job Summary : - As a Key Account Manager (KAM -Direct Sales) you will work with an assigned set of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on the marketplace platform and help them to improve their business performance on the platform up to 120 days after the launch. You will analyze the performance of an assigned set of sellers from your region and identify the initiatives for improving the Selection, Visibility, In-stock, Sales & Fulfilment metrics to push the sellers to Perfect Launch. - You will create a Joint Business Plan with the sellers and execute the plan to achieve the desired outcomes in business metrics. You will be responsible for account management for the SMEs ensuring they have a smooth seller/partner experience on the platform. You will own the Seller Experience metrics for your territory and consistently strive to ensure a very high seller satisfaction. You will liaise with Direct sales, Category, Marketing & Product teams for the various initiatives for Account Management of tail sellers. Skills Required: 1. Strong relationship management skills - having handled relationship management for a large set of clients/customers. 2. 5+ yrs key account management experience in D2C, B2B2C models within one/multiple industries - Telecom, FMCG, e-commerce, start-ups, fintech, hospitality etc. 3. Farming experience in growing existing client accounts M-o-M. 4. Analytical ability to evaluate the Seller's business metrics and take remedial actions to improve seller performance. 5. Good in stakeholder management. 6. Exposure to E-Commerce marketplace, preferably in areas of Seller Acquisition & Account management. 7. Knowledge on key word analysis, catalogue quality analysis, sponsored advertisements, bidding strategies & optimization is preferable. Personal Attributes and Competencies : 1. Strong sense of customer focus and empathy - buyers & sellers should always be central to your decision making. 2. Demonstrated highest level of integrity and strong work ethic. 3. Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity. 4. Self-driven leader who can own and deliver sales & business targets month on month. 5. Consistent effort, intense commitment, perseverance and willingness to go above and beyond. 6. Very good written and verbal communication skills - English & local language (or Hindi). Preferred Qualifications : 1. MBA from Tier 2/Tier3 institute preferable, not mandatory. 2. Hands-on experience in digital marketing campaign strategy & execution is an advantage. 3. Graduation mandatory. 4. 7+ years of overall experience with minimum 5 years in account management.
