Product(Buying & Merchandising):

- Define & strategize product offering vis-a-vis brand positioning & ideology. Ensure best representation of wellness business vertical terms of offering, authenticity & mix

- P&L Management of the Category

- Sourcing, developing and introducing product ranges, travel to vendors/manufacturer & selection of best suitable product.

- Devise long-term development strategies for product categories and Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products

- Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory

Business development:

- Identify product category performance & gaps and form strategies

- Stay ahead of the curve & aim to achieve AOP, Margin & Stock guidelines for business vertical

- Work closely with operations & support functions team and assess business performance

- Define event strategies to showcase best representations of category

- Liaise with marketing teams to determine promotional activities of a product category

Cluster/Vendor development:

- Manage vendor relationship & ensure timely deliveries,optimize Vendor capacity & sourcing best products

- Work closely with cluster & sourcing team to standardize/define work process, costing, timelines etc. keeping craft & cluster limitations in consideration

- Foster trust relationships with artisans and cluster heads to achieve better pricing and quality of services

Customer Experience

- Packaging and display to enhance experience

- Organize sampling and trial workshops to educate and spread awareness

- Communicate and educate team members to provide correct information to consumers

- Curate a range that is relevant to the customers' needs

Team Building:

- Ensure team is aligned with the vision & values of the Brand & organisation

- Support team members to define their growth path within the business vertical or organisation

- Train and develop R&D team
