Key Responsibilities:
Buying & Range Planning:
- Plan and develop the seasonal range for Personal Care (baby toiletries, grooming, health & hygiene) based on customer insights, trends, and sales data.
- Source and select products across own-label and key supplier brands.
- Create balanced assortments across price points, sub-categories, and customer needs.
- Ensure timely product onboarding aligned with seasonal calendars and launch timelines.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and negotiate best-in-class commercial terms.
- Build strong vendor relationships to drive collaboration, exclusivity, and innovation.
- Manage vendor performance and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
Merchandising & Trading:
- Own category P&L - manage pricing, margins, OTB, and promotional planning.
- Monitor sell-throughs, identify slow movers, and take timely markdown actions.
- Work with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels and in-store availability.
Analysis & Reporting:
- Track weekly sales, performance vs plan, and KPIs (GMROI, stock cover, sell-through, etc.).
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous category improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Visual Merchandising, E-commerce, and Marketing to drive product visibility and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Planning team for accurate forecasting and inventory management.
