Develop, implement and manage the category business plans
Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Maximize sales and rupee gross margin
- Develop the comprehensive business plan
- Achieve budgeted profits
- Manage inventory to maximize stock turns/SPSF (OTIF) and monitor discounts/price grids across brands
Customer
- Provide direction to buyers to plan and edit brand & product assortments
- Put in place systems and processes to achieve customer centricity as a key value across all levels of the organization
- Undertake focused market research and gather market intelligence
- Provide products and services to all segments
- Internal Business Process
- Stock turns as per definitions
- Implementation of Forecasting and replenishment systems
- Product/Vendor Inputs on vendor/range rationalization
- Ensure 100% fill on time in full
- Oversee overall category plans pricing, promotion, assortment and allocation for each sub-category
- Monitor and review weekly performance of the category
- Adhere to process calendar
