Release Manager - Healthcare Information Product (8-12 yrs)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities on time and as per plan
- Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio
- Ensure readiness for a ONE- Click deployment for all releases.
- Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, quality and challenge delays.
- Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Weekly Release Reporting
- Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
- Work with development teams to understand impacts of branches and code merges
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release process to increase release velocity, especially in the Cloud business
- Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
- Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
- Research new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyze their application to current configuration management needs
Prerequisite: Educational Qualifications/ Certifications /Experience
- 8-10 years of previous release management experience
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
