Relationship Manager - Portfolio Management - Liability (3-8 yrs)

Job Purpose - To deepen wallet, share of existing customers to scale our liabilities portfolio and increase cross sell.

Responsibilities :

1. Maintain customer profile including risk profile, demographics of their base

2. To handle existing book of customer and Drive Liabilities Sales through existing client base for operating account, term deposits and other transaction banking products in line with the targets set out.

3. Deepening the existing customers and increasing wallet share, cross sell banks products.

4. Move customers to digital channels, deepening the existing customers and increasing wallet share

5. Record and track all engagement activities through the CRM system

6. Comply with KYC, other regulators governing the bank. Highlight any adverse remarks from your customer base immediately

Requirements:

- A graduate or equivalent degree (with experience / understanding of banking and sales), Computer proficiency (Acquaintance with internet and MS Office) with relevant experience of selling in banking /NBFC financial products

- Good understanding of the sales process through preferably prior sales experience of 5-6 years

- Prior Liabilities, Cash, Trade and Foreign Exchange banking selling experience is desirable

- Market knowledge and experience in the Mid-market / SME segment, with reference to customer preferences and requirement would be preferable

- Good technical knowledge of cash management/ transaction banking business

- Good team worker

- Good customer and relationship management skills.

- Good interpersonal and communications skills.

- Good problem solving, planning & organising skills. Planning, scheduling and monitoring deliverables, within a stipulated time frame using effective methods

- Well versed in AML risk

Technical Competencies :

- Basic understanding of liability banking products and associated technology platforms and operational procedures

- Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by MAS and by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general.

- Understanding of KYC requirements are critical.

- Knowledge of financial markets and products to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients

Work Relationship :

- Possess good working relationship and a high degree of team spirit and cooperation with relationship group as well as service partners in the bank such as Product Mgt, Operations, Finance, Legal etc, so as to ensure seamless delivery of products to clients

- Establish rapport with our clients so as to win their business, confidence and trust
