Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Banking Credit Analyst to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting high-quality credit proposals, supporting the Relationship Manager (RM) in managing an existing portfolio, and driving growth through the acquisition of new clients.
- This role demands a strong understanding of credit processes, disbursement procedures, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Proposal Development:
- Draft comprehensive and high-quality credit proposals.
- Prepare credit notes and facilitate the sanctioning process from risk assessment up to - 500 Crore (no cap).
Portfolio Management:
- Assist the RM in managing the existing client portfolio.
- Contribute to the growth of the portfolio by securing new to bank business within the Corporate Banking segment.
Disbursement Process:
- Ensure thorough knowledge and execution of the disbursement process, including legal, valuation, and other related aspects.
Client Monitoring:
- Monitor day-to-day activities of clients.
- Identify potential value-destroying assets and take corrective actions.
Sanction and Committee Presentation:
- Present credit cases effectively to the committee for sanction.
- Demonstrate experience and ability in structuring and presenting cases.
Market Knowledge:
- Have a strong grasp of the local market.
- Establish and maintain relationships with leading large-market clients.
Facility Structuring:
- Collaborate with the RM to structure facilities that meet both client and bank needs effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in credit proposal preparation and portfolio management within Corporate Banking.
- Strong understanding of the disbursement process, including legal and valuation aspects.
- Demonstrated ability to present and advocate for credit cases before a committee.
- In-depth knowledge of the local market and key large-market clients.
- Experience in structuring financial facilities in alignment with client and bank requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
