Education preference - MBA Grad. From Tier I campuses or CA - 1st attempt - has been working with Banks/NBFC's - lending business for large corporates. Relationship Manager/ Large Corporates - Responsible for assisting Zonal Head in delivering Profitability, Fee & Asset Book numbers. He / She would assist the Zonal Head in delivering Profitability & Asset Book numbers in line with the budgets and simultaneously ensure building up of a quality loan book. He/she shall execute the entire loan lifecycle requirements from origination to post disbursement account monitoring to complete collection of loan in a seamless manner. RM should be able to take pre-emptive corrective action towards any indication of irregularity in the portfolio. - Every transaction has three phases - () Deal Creation () Post Disbursement monitoring / management () Repayment / Loan Closure. In each of these phases of the deal, several critical activities are involved. - Product Coverage : The product portfolio includes corporate & project loans, bridge loans, structured finance transactions, working capital cash flow gap financing, receivables and investment monetization's and other advisory services - Credit Appraisal Memorandum, Deal Structuring, Financial Modelling, Compliance - He/she shall be responsible for preparing high quality appraisal notes and financial models. He should be able to address the queries of the RISK analysts and present deal contours to the Credit Committee satisfactorily. - He / She should have sound understanding of the Deal Structure and should be able to analyze audited / unaudited financials of the Borrowers. Since the lending is mostly at SPV level and with limited or no-recourse to operating cash flows, it is very critical that he/she possess strong quantitative & financial modeling skills for thorough due diligence of the project/deal base case financials, sensitivity analysis and DSCR calculations. - Compliance with all terms of sanction, timely servicing of debt obligations and periodic monitoring of the financial health of the borrower are important aspects of maintaining a healthy portfolio. Key focus to ensure complete compliance with internal / external regulations for the portfolio handled by him / her. - Ongoing interaction with other Banks & Financial Institutions, Sector Experts, Technical Engineers, Credit Rating Agencies, Key Customers & Suppliers etc. - He/she shall build cordial working relationships with their counterparts in Syndication & Lending teams of other banks, FIs and market intermediaries. Should periodically interact with technical experts on the sector such as Lenders Engineer, Lenders Legal Counsel, and Lenders Insurance Advisor to assess the financial health of the Project / Borrower. - Customer Acquisition & Relationship management - He/she will maintain a database of target customers, identify potential clients and assist Zonal Head in sourcing new business opportunities from these potential customers. He /she shall also maintain constant interactions with existing clients and ensure superior client satisfaction. Transaction Due Diligence : Incumbent shall utilize his / her exceptional financial & credit understanding skills in conducting thorough transaction due diligence and thereby identify, highlight & mitigate transaction risks. Purpose of the Job : - Responsible for entire Transaction lifecycle management - Responsible for credit appraisal of the corporates and client servicing. - Responsible for execution of end to end set processes such as financial analysis, note making, documentation etc. - Client servicing and portfolio management. - Responsible for understanding & cross-sell retail liability & asset products to clients. - Responsible for generating new leads under the guidance of SRM/Zonal Head. Key deliverables : - Credit Appraisal- Expected to understand in detail the client's business, financials and prepare quality appraisal note in collaboration with Risk Management team. - Documentation- Facilitates disbursement of funds once sanction is in place through coordination with various internal groups. He/she is also expected to complete post-disbursement documentation activities in coordination with control groups such as Legal, Compliance, Credit Middle Office. - Portfolio management Assist in managing a high quality portfolio of corporate clients - Support the senior Relationship Manager in achieving business targets, acquiring and onboarding new clients - Understand & cross-sell various retail asset & liability products to capture entire ecosystem of corporate clients Key skills : - 3 to 4 years of relevant experience - Understanding of financial statements such as Balance sheet, P&L A/c & Cash flow statements - Strong quantitative & financial modelling skills, sensitivity analysis and DSCR calculations - Knowledge of computation of key financial ratios - Knowledge of Basic Banking products - Communication and presentation skills - Basic working knowledge of Word, Excel and PPT About the client: Its among the leading well-diversified non-banking financial services company in India and a recognized player in Infrastructure Finance, providing project and structured finance for large corporates
