Regional Sourcing Head - AgriTech Business (8-14 yrs)
As a Sourcing Head you will be responsible for Fruits & Vegetable vertical, which is a B2B2C business model. This is a mini start-up within company which is growing and scaling rapidly. You as a Regional Sourcing Head will have opportunity to set-up the business right from scratch, figuring out demand, growth and retention.
This is an extremely challenging, high on problem solving, and deep execution role. Will require field visits for building market understanding and acquisition strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Create and contribute to sourcing strategy across all the business cities
- Identification of sourcing pipeline for each category of fruits & vegetables
- Identification of suppliers from across the key souring locations
- Establishing standards with regards to quality, delivery and pricing
- Conduct bids / RFQ etc on need basis
- Supplier selection, negotiation, and onboarding
- Ongoing quality assurance and timely service delivery for each supplier
- People and process management responsibility for the procurement team.
- Ensure healthy supply chain management - maximum inventory cap to be maintained.
- Reordering to be streamlined to minimise OOS as well as dump due to excess inventory.
Must-Have Skills :
- Graduate/PG from Agriculture College with 8+ years of experience in sourcing all types of fruits and vegetables categories
- Team management of 30+ size
- Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proactive takes initiative, self-motivated, team player
- Strong collaboration, stake holder management and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to hustle
