Regional Sales Training/Learning & Development Manager - Pharma (10-18 yrs)

Position Summary :
- The position is an individual contributor position.
- The position would be responsible for delivering capability building initiatives to sales and enabling functions team, in an assigned geography / franchise, by developing scientific knowledge, functional skills and leadership behaviors.
- This would require field and office level interaction with internal teams and in external customers
Accountabilities :
- Product Knowledge and Preparation
- Classroom delivery and administration
- Sustain and improve quality index on a continuous basis
- Ensure effectiveness and improvement through bench-marking and best practices implementation
Key responsibilities :
Strategic :
- Understand franchise business at local and national level, set short term & long-term objectives with stakeholders - business and enabling.
- To create overall development plan for field sales team and first line managers, outlining timelines and variety of inteventions, meeting and exceeding needs.
- To maintain strong relations with stakeholders and create repeat / improved interventions
- Creating champions for learning
- Create an environment of engagement and inclusiveness.
- Collaborate / co-work with enabling functions such as HR &, MAF on learning & development initiatives
Operational:
- Understanding group / individual needs of participants and other stakeholders, for business objectives.
- Conduct variety of initiatives such as pre-work support, deliver workshops, field interventions, one-on-one coaching, virtual learning medium.
- Drive implementation of learning's by facilitating Action Learning Projects, reviews, success presentations, or follow-up on mail / phone / face-to-face interactions.
- Feedback to stakeholders on participant performance and progress on applications
- Support major focus areas of L&D function i.e. creation, delivery, sustenance & administration by developing, maintaining, and coordinating required activities.
Sustenance and Planning :
- Content creation and updates - presentations / learning material
- Monitor participant progress through program records
- Sharing of reports with stakeholders BU teams - ABM /RBM / NBM / BUH
- Ensure application learning, follow up through on job (field) coaching & evaluation across target group
Developmental :
- Create and meet personal improvement plans.
- Share learning's and best practices. Provide inputs for enhancing capability of team members.
- Support implementation of new systems and process improvements.

Education and experience :
- B. Pharma / Science Graduate with MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
- Sales / Marketing Experience - At least 7-8 years
- Prior exposure to training / L&D will be preferred
