Job Description:
This position is for Government sales based out of Delhi. The focus for this position will be to further build on the government engagement and business acquisition at central and state level. The role requires deep engagement with ministries and at the same time buildng strategic relationships with large SIs and consulting firms, who are active in this space.
Skills Required:
- Designing and executing business strategies in the defined territories, Successfully forecast and drive achievement of revenues from the assigned territories,
- Experience in anchoring and managing complex business engagements,
- Hands-on experience in all procurement models prevalent in government, Proven negotiation expertise, 80% of the total experience should be in managing central and state governments, Must have worked in at least 2 states within Delhi/ Punjab/Orissa/MP/UP, Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
Experience in working with cross-functional teams and a proven team player in a large MNC, Ability to draft and manage RFP and responses, Current and active relationships with large consulting firms and SIs, Experience in building a territory from little or nothing, Skilled at driving and anchoring discussions with bureaucrats and ministers single-handedly, Ability to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and create value propositions
