Regional Sales Manager/Head - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI (10-12 yrs)

We are looking for a high-performing Regional Head who will focus on driving the brand users and building the brand in the country. He/she must be a people person focused on driving key people to garner results. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential in the defined geography and execute sales plans.

Business & P&L

1) Identify opportunities & partnership which contribute to the overall revenue buildup for the region from existing categories

2) Explore partnerships which impacts the cost structure positively

Stakeholder management

External

1) Identify partnerships/models which bring in efficiency 

2) Setup processes to streamline their operations and align all the relevant stakeholders for the same 

3) Should keep on thinking on positive disruption in the existing models/partnerships (eg what all can be done here)

Internal

1) Ensure smooth co-ordination and work between departments. Act as focal point to drive organizational agenda 

2) Aligns the various departments on what needs to be picked for actioning basis the insights from ground 

3) Overall planning for each department customized to the geographies

4) Skip level management on quality of hire and their development plans

Analysis of competitive landscape/market and strategy thereby

1) Synthesize competition activities to understand their broader strategy and shifts. 

2) Ability to identify overall impact of the insight on org strategy/plan and prioritize them accordingly and eliminate cluttering/non-critical actions out of them 

3) Partner with relevant departments/management to help developing insights and align them

Productivity and Key Business Metrics like KYC

1) Should be able to devise regional plan customized to the region for achieving long term objectives. An AOP for the region with P&L kept in mind

2) Take up objectives to pilot new initiatives and include in plan above. 

3) Should be able to develop an environment of co-creation & co-ownership among teams within region to partner & deliver the new initiatives

4) Monitor tools used to drive performance and evaluate effectiveness. Ensure changes to align with overall objectives

New strategic initiatives

1) Planning for the strategic Initiatives coming from the management , and ability to suggest the best execution plan basis geographies/people.

2) Ability to visualize scope of the initiative and explore all horizons to avoid any wrong insight being picked up (eg : use methods like AB testing, correlation techniques, impact analysis ) 

3) Should be able to steer course of initiative basis the external/internal environment 

4) Should be able to pick up new opportunities/BD ideas and influence the management to build in the strategy with apt data/logic

Team management

Identify resources with potential and mentor by involving in projects to ensure a strong talent pipeline

Training/Development

1) Identify people development plans & opportunities 

2) Long term team development plan

REQUIREMENTS - 

- Proven work experience of 10+ years in business roles

- Tier 1 campus batch of 2009 /2010/ 2011

- Problem solving ability using 1st principles

- Strong business acumen

- Ability to handle large teams spread across geographies
