Our client is a large and well-respected Business House of India having diverse interests globally with strong Indian roots.
One of its Listed companies operating in the Consumer Space has entrusted us with the selection of a Regional Manager - South.
The person will be responsible for handling sales in 2 states of South India.
Key Responsibilities:
To deliver the business plan for the region in terms of achieving budgeted sales targets and increasing market share of the company.
To ensure equitable growth across categories & synergy business, as per the business plan.
Manage a team of ASMs & front line executives.
Manage a network of distributors/ dealers
Manage the influencers (Retailers / mechanics)
Identify and give feedback on the competition landscape
Identify newer avenues of business
Responsible for managing the credit risk along with timely collections and follow up of outstandings.
To ensure healthy product mix in line with the organizational goal
To ensure a healthy realization from sales.
Manage the inventory at the depot level.
To plan and implement local campaigns/ promotions for improving visibility of the product range, thereby increasing the demand
Responsible for training the sales team
Manage the Regional costs budgets
Responsible for implementation of policy / corporate initiatives across region.
The position is based in Chennai.
Education: MBA from a well-known institute.
