Regional Sales Manager - Fast Moving Consumer Durable (FMCD)

- Directs and controls the entire regional activities towards achieving agreed sales volumes/targets for a geographical area which will help the company to achieve its strategic and business objectives

- Oversees the smooth functioning of the entire regional activities.

- Ensures achievement of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Target through existing and new dealer and distribution channel members, supervision of all related activities which contribute positively to the overall performance of the division.

- Ensures adherence to sales policies and implements the policies provided by Corporate Marketing team.

- Drive for excellent customer service

- Developing a sales force with contemporary selling and marketing skills

- Coaching and mentoring the team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- To look after overall business in the assigned region

- Direct, organize, monitor and control Area Managers, Sales Executives, Sales Trainees & MSRs to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet sales targets and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.

- Monitor and control the budget for the Region to ensure that all financial targets are met and are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts and strategy to enable effective forward planning

- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company's maximum sales potential is realized in the area.

- To be responsible for demand generation activities, promotional campaigns, channel partner meets thereby improving market share through penetration activity, cultivation of new channel partners and network expansion, as well as management and support of existing channels/network Primary and Secondary Network.

- Maintain awareness of brand building and company products and of relevant sales techniques and strategies to ensure that the role is carried out as effectively as possible.

- Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position

- Provide the main source of expertise to the company on business development issues

- To provide after-sales service support in coordination with Service Team for improving customer satisfaction

Qualification And Experience :

1. MBA with 10-15 Years of Experience in FMCD Industry & working with Regional Retail Accounts

2. Experience in handling on-roll and off-roll team

3. Operationally Minded - You understand the operational performance metrics that prove out performance for our customers and the levers that impact poor/strong performance

4. Collaborative/Confident - You have developed the ability to create and reinforce functional relationships with senior businesspeople/operators with a foundation of business acumen, operational understanding, and common sense

5. Negotiator/Engager - You have a demonstrated track record of being able to engage others around your ideas/direction

6. Self-starter - You are enthusiastic and self-motivated and able to perform with minimum supervision

7. Results-driven - Well developed problem-solving skills

8. Communicative - Strong verbal and written communication skills
