Regional Sales Lead - North Region - Agri Startup (13-16 yrs)
A leading startup in the agri space is looking for a North India Regional Sales Lead to develop business for north. Please note people with 15 years of Sales experience in FMCG sector preferred.
Role:
- Preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Building, planning, directing and implementing sales strategies and programs to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the region.
- Accountable for revenue and margin targets for the region
- Generating sales of company products in the region through a team to achieve/exceed the annual sales targets
- Setting targets and monitoring them periodically
- Develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team
- Managing, directing and coordinating the activities of the Area Sales Managers
- People management in terms of orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, employees in assigned districts
- Appointing the right set of channel partners with appropriate experience, good infrastructure, financially strong and with an attitude to grow
- Developing and maintaining an efficient distribution network
- Developing systems for accurate forecasting and ensure follow up with production, logistics and CFA
To fit the bill, you must have :
- Must have 15 years of sales experience in a FMCG company post MBA
- Sound knowledge of sales and sales administration processes
- Strong understanding of modern trade and general trade
- Understanding of Food Services business and HORECA would be preferable
