Regional Product Development Manager - Jewellery

Experience Required : 10 - 12 years (preferably within the jewellery industry)

About the Role :

We are seeking a Manager - Regional Product Development to lead culturally rich and market-relevant jewellery innovations for the Tamil Nadu region. This role is ideal for a passionate individual contributor with a strong understanding of Tamil traditions and the ability to transform cultural insights into commercially successful product lines.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in shaping the regional assortment strategy and will work closely with the Circle Head to deliver jewellery collections that reflect the tastes and heritage of the Tamil community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive region-specific product development initiatives tailored for the Tamil Nadu market.

- Utilize deep cultural insights to inform jewellery design, seasonal collections, and special assortments.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to create high-performing, locally resonant collections.

- Analyze regional market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings to optimize product strategy.

- Ensure timely execution of designs and manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch.

- Coordinate with sourcing and merchandising teams to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.

- Act as the voice of the Tamil Nadu market in broader product planning and development forums.

Key Requirements:

- 10-15 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or merchandising, preferably in the jewellery sector.

- Deep understanding of Tamil culture, rituals, festivals, and customer expectations.

- Expert-level proficiency in Tamil (both spoken and written) is mandatory.

- Strong product sensibility with a passion for regional and heritage-inspired designs.

- Proven ability to work independently and manage cross-functional collaboration.

- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
