Regional Channel Development Manager
Job Purpose:
RCDM is responsible for supporting (NCDM) in planning and executing all channel development initiatives – like OTC Network, Grocery coverage, Modern Trade, Institutions, Wholesale. The position would also be accountable for related top-line and ROI on support budgets against each channel vertical for their respective regions.
Major Accountabilities:
- Achievement of Topline for each channel vertical
- Execute and deliver KPIs for each channel vertical as outlined in the annual/quarterly channel plan
- Work closely with RBMs to identify channel development areas / priorities in various territories and build a Channel Strategy & deliver the same
- Support/Coach the regional FF in delivering the channel KPIs.
- Drive retailing and deliver top-class retail execution standards in his / her territory
- Manage the channel budgets and organise necessary support (trade and consumer marketing) and ensure regional ROI targets are met
- To adhere to Company’s business norms / SOPs/ Group compliance/ Code of conduct, NP4 and OTC P3 policies
Key Performance Indicators:
- Topline by channel vertical
- Execution KPIs for each channel vertical
- ROI on channel budgets
Ideal Background:
- Education - Full Time MBA Degree from a Recognized University, with specialization in Marketing or sales
- Experience – 6-8 years in a FMCG Multinational Company with at-least 3-4 years Experience in new
channel development

- Strong influencing skills
- Proven track record in handling Modern Trade and Institutions business.
