Regional Marketing Manager - Drives & Automation (10-15 yrs)

Major responsibilities of the role holder's immediate subordinates

EIC :

- Is responsible for Achieving Sale and Order Input Budget.

- Achieve Budgeted Debtors and Manage and Forecast Stocks.

- Responsible for Key Accounts and overall customer satisfaction.

- Develop territories and expand System House /dealer network and create pull in the market.

- To actively gather market and competition information on timely basis and update the same.

- Acts as a collaborator with Divisional and Other Regional Departments with minimum conflicts like Service, Production, Design, Quality, Sales Commercial, Divisional Marketing etc.

OP:

- Is responsible for Achieving Sale and Order Input Budget.

- Retain existing accounts and generate/develop new accounts

- On time report generation and develop cordial relationship between branch and division.

- To actively gather market and competition information on timely basis and update the same.

Services:

- To enhance the market share for existing and new products using service as a customer satisfaction and delight tool.

- To meet and exceed customer expectations by ensuring the environment to enhance the competency of service engineers/Authorized Service contractors and giving feedback to division for effective service.

- Augment service revenue, improve service network and improve service avenues.

- Ontimereport generation and develop cordial relationship between branch and division.

- To actively gather market and competition information on timely basis and update the same.

The nature of the reporting relationship which exists between the role holder and the manager to whom the role holder is accountable.

To Communicate on Regular BasisWeekly/Bi-weekly or as and when required on business performance, support required etc /short terms action plans needful for achieving budgets.

- To update about market feedback and competition activities

- To update about performance of people

To Drive Sales and Marketing efforts for achieving Budgeted Regional Sales, Order Input, DTR for Profitable Growth.

- To Make and Implement Leadership strategies for maintaining and increasing market Share by penetrating in existing accounts and increasing new/competitors accounts.

- To Collaborate with Divisional Marketing, Finance, Sales Commercial, Service, Quality for achieving overall customer satisfaction and company goals/objectives.

- To Manage and Motivate Team, assess training needs; drive them to perform at best of capabilities by consistently improving their efficiency.


Key Accountabilities:


1. Marketing Manager:


To coordinate efforts at Regional Level to achieve Budgeted Figures. To monitor market share new product development needs. To push order input from New Customers, New Geographies and analyse market trends an future needs.


2. Customer Relationship Management:


To collaborate with various departments Sales Commercial, Finance, Service, Design to achieve over all customer satisfaction. To review major Contracts and revise Rate Contract from time to time.


3. Key Account Management:


Tocloselyworkwith top twenty customers. Be available to them. Maintain relation with people across all ranks and review performance.


4. People Management:


Drive Team to achieve Budgeted Targets. Assess the capabilities and assign jobs as per strengths.


Key Challenges:


- Due to major non - approval unable to capture project business& hence priority is to get approvals from major Consultant - EIL / MEACON / MITCON etc with the help of Division.


- Due to continuous change of brands over period of time, customer doesn't have confidence in us & hence to develop trust & confidence by consistently supply the material & importantly pushing by consistently maintaining the market acceptable price for next 2-3 years.


- New Projects are dependent on economy Growth and market scenario


- To understand the market requirements & find a solution fitting Divisions offering & customer requirements.


- Global leaders are setting up base in India


- Competition is catching fast and we have lost the strategic edge we once had on Approvals,Range, and price.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


Educational qualifications:


- Engineering any faculty with same market segment working experience Dip/BE (Electrical/Mechanical)and MBA preferable


Relevant experience:


- 10 to 15 Years Experience in Handling Industry Customers, Consultants, PSU, Govt Undertakings Tender Business, Reverse Auctions. Leadership Experience of Handling Team size 6 or more


Necessary Functional Skills required for this job:


- Working Knowledge of MS office, SAP


- Good Communication Skills, OEM / project exposure.


- Experience in dealing with multifunctional teams
