Regional Manager - Communications & External Affairs - Healthcare/Pharma (10-15 yrs)
- Spearhead communications and external affairs for the organization in India. The corporate communications and external affairs function (external communications and media relations, internal communications, advocacy) plays a crucial role in our organization, delivering state-of-the-art, creative communications and public affairs strategies that:
- Grow relevance and esteem for the company and its brands
- Protect and enhance the reputation of company
- Create thought leadership in the chosen industries
- Garner support for company activities among various stakeholders
- Responsibilities would include developing and implementing the corporate communications and external affairs strategy, and driving advocacy communications, by:
- Shaping and executing the overall corporate communications strategy for the company in India
- Safeguarding the brand, reputation and image of the company; working closely with mainstream and trade media to manage relationships and increase earned media coverage
- Identifying and securing opportunities for profiling of President of the company for India
- Supporting the President, India with employee engagement, corporate programs, culture and change management communications internal initiatives
- Proposing and supporting effective ways to enhance dialogue with stakeholders to increase understanding, alignment and commitment towards business goals
- Providing input and contributing content for communication plans in India; monitor progress and deliver within budget and deadlines
- Engaging the business to support with business communications on the topic of malnutrition & solar.
- Ensuring the reputation and image is safe guarded through effective and efficient management of crisis communications.
- The role will also be responsible for communications of our various business verticals for APAC.
- In addition, the role will be engaged for global nutrition communications projects where required and appropriate.
