Our client is a UK based MNC providing Supply Chain Services globally. Their presence across the globe demands a regional Lean Leader to run effective and efficient operations. The position will be based out of India.
Reporting into the regional leadership and managing a team of managers across the region, you will be responsible for:
- Coaching, Mentoring and Developing Lean leaders at the facilities and also the senior operations team in the lean principles.
- Taking the ownership of leading lean transformation which is of important scope and complexity
- Organizing governance reviews with the lean managers at the facilities, country heads and operations heads on a frequent basis.
- Making sure that kaizen events are happening through leading or coaching teams, implementing operational BSC (safety, quality, delivery and productivity) for the qualified scope.
- Encouraging and enabling analysis of work flow impairments and other wastes throughout the business, and implement your subject matter expertise to suggest apt tools to remove them.
- Brainstorming with the respective Country Heads and making a strategic lean transformation portfolio with them. Helping Regional and BU level leadership and Site lean managers in the creation of a Lean transformation roadmap. This will also include the sizing and managing them over a period of time.
- Pursuing continual Lean learning and thus improving training and enabling skills and Lean bank of knowledge.
- Benchmarking and incorporating the best practices in the organization functions across the global facilities by actively taking part in the Lean Leader Community.
- Developing and augmenting the Lean Operating System in such a manner that the front line associates also follow the Lean principles.
Ideally you are a Lean Expert and a six sigma black belt with overall 18-25 years of experience in Manufacturing setups or E-Commerce setups and atleast 10 years of experience in implementing Lean Transformation in company owned Warehouse/Distribution/Logistic global business environment.
Candidates from pure play services background will NOT be considered unless they are a part of e- commerce/logistics business with in depth exposure into Lean principles in warehouse/site management.
- You should be able to manage distributed Lean Managers across the global geographies.
- You should have Strong communication and influencing skills, strong training and facilitation, problem solving, time and project management skills.
- You should preach continual improvement philosophy and drive change successfully.
- You should have an excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment in a fast paced environment.
