Regional Leader - Data Analytics/Data Management - BFSI

Exciting Leadership opportunity to work with one of the Leading Investment Bank in Pune to work with Global Stakeholders and Senior Management and the overall site to lead the Data Analytics area to drive and oversee the implementation of the CCO Data Analytics Strategy within all service lines in CCO specifically for the Assurance reviews and thematic deep dives that the team do with the aim of delivering efficiencies and/or increased assurance and/or effective risk management.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Design, execute and embed the Data Analytics strategy.

- Manage a fairly senior team and lead the function for India location.

- Liaise with Senior stakeholders and cross functional team and work very closely with business to address data strategy and control and governance around it.

- Ideate, develop, and apply forensic data science and Analytical modelling techniques to identify trends and potential control issues by looking at datasets from across many different businesses.

- Execute complex analytics for control testing, deep dives, event/issues analysis and other data analysis whilst upskilling control test operators/other CCO team to deliver more data driven assurance.

- Provide leadership and keep abreast of upcoming new technologies and its applicability.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Bachelor's degree with equivalent years of service within Financial services domain.

- Expert level hands on knowledge working with RDBMS, Python, UNIX, Hadoop, and Tableau (or equivalents).

- Good knowledge of data science algorithms and toolsets, with ability to deliver high profile solutions in a fast paced environment.

- Good experience interacting with senior management and ability to develop business cases, management presentations, reports, strategies etc.

- Good experience managing and delivering complex business projects with many dependencies in a matrix environment.
